I applied in-person. I interviewed at Walmart (New York, NY) in Feb 2018
Interview
Generally it is difficult to get an interview. It is based on who you know. The best way is to intern as a student. Then they will move you within the company where there is a spot available. Be ready to travel for the job.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Describe a difficult situation and how you solved it.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Walmart in July 2025
Interview
30 Minute pre-screen call followed by interview with recruiter and district manager(s)
Pre-screen call was straight forward questions getting to know you and your background. Why Walmart, some questions about your ideals and work ethic.
I am awaiting the second phase and will update this post.
Very informative about the company's history and general purpose/direction. They asked questions regarding where I wanted to be in a few years within the company. They also wanted to know if I see myself in more of a leadership role.
