I applied in-person. I interviewed at Walmart (Napa, CA) in Jan 2019
Interview
It was fairly easy. They used to do a three step interview years back, this time they only brought me in and talked to me about 5 minutes before giving me the position, and scheduling my computer training.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How would I respond if a customer needed help in a different area?
Very easy and straight to the point. Question about previous experience related to the role, or situations where you’ve had to multitask or under slight stress etc… What kind of hours you would like to work all that good stuff.
Pretty simple interview with basic questions. I Applied online and then received a call to schedule an interview and was hired within three days. Basic questions like tell me about yourself, problem solving, ability to perform the job, and customer service experience.
A brief interview asking both behavioral style and hypothetical questions. Overall I feel it was an average interview requiring minimal prep. Nothing too difficult and a fine interview overall. As long as you present yourself as personable you should be fine.
