I was moving from Los Angeles, CA to Boston, MA; I applied for a few positions through referrals and was contacted for a couple phone interviews. I was called for a video interview with a manager and I was told I would be contacted within a week. After not hearing anything, I reached out and did not receive a response. I tried again a week later, no response. I finally received an email from the recruiter that I had been working with me telling me I would have a new contact as she would be going on leave and to reach back out once I made the move to Boston. A week before I flew out, I emailed the recruiter and notified her I would be arriving in a week to schedule a date and time. No response. Another week later, I reached out again to tell them I had arrived. A few days later, I finally received a response saying the job had been put on hold, but there were a couple other positions available. I told the recruiter I was interested and she put me in contact with someone else. I emailed that person, no response. I emailed them again a week later, no response.
Overall, I would say it was a terrible interview process and would not recommend Wayfair to anyone I know. There was no transparency, the communication was terrible, and the fact I could not even get a response back was very telling of the type of company they are.
