The design process depends on the project I'm working on, timeframe I have, and user success metrics. First I would define project and personal goals, then begin to plan for user research through surveys and interviews. This helps me understand what the pain points are, what the customer need is and where to interject potential design solutions within the customer journey. I would socialize my design decisions early during this time, then begin wireframe and prototype UX flows while testing throughout the process to validate design decisions and success of the solution.
