I applied through university. I interviewed at Workday in Oct 2014
Interview
I've enjoyed interviews with many, many companies in the Silicon Slopes of Utah. Workday was by far the #1 most enjoyable. Very clear communication from very sharp individuals who know what they're looking for. I had a laddering interview with 4 people individually; all sales managers and one corporate recruiter. Do your homework, they'll notice! Best interview among MANY tech companies here in Utah. (This is 1st round; haven't received further steps yet as I only interviewed this week)
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Honestly, if you know what Workday is and where they're going...then it's pretty simple. A few behavioral situation questions, but - at least for the CSD team - they're looking for self-motivated, intelligent, and driven individuals who can clearly articulate their thoughts. Look sharp, be sharp.
a first call with the HR, then with the Hiring manager of your team, then a panel (case or presentation), then a last round with a director of your country

Question 1
Tell me about yourself, motivation, how do you prioritize, territory plan etc
Thanks for your review! We're glad to read you had an overall positive experience, and it's amazing to hear you chose Workday as your career destination!
4 rounds with TA, Hiring Manager, Director, Manager Interview will be quite fast and usually within a 2 week time frame. Its not too combative and the interviewers are respectful and open

Question 1
why this role? why workday? why you? how do you deal with failure?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Workday (San Francisco, CA)
Interview
Drawn out process over weeks. Very uncoordinated. Led to believe there was an offer then ghosted multiple times. Passed around between recruiters who were on spring break. I expected better communication and coordination from a company of this size.
