Interview
Interviewing at WBR was an incredibly refreshing and transparent experience. I had an initial screening call that lasted about 30 minutes with the manager- I was asked pretty basic questions (background, interest in role, location, salary expectations etc.), and was given a description of the role and WBR more broadly. I was brought in the next week for an interview with the manager I spoke to, and another manager on the sales team. This included more in-depth questions about sales aptitude, preferred management style, and knowledge of conference industry and sponsorships. Following this, I was contacted immediately to come in the next day for an interview with the department head. This was about an hour, and included many situational and behavioral questions- it was largely to gauge personality and culture fit. The last piece of the process was to meet the manager I spoke with initially and a potential team member for coffee to get to know them more personally in a casual setting. Following this, I received and accepted an offer! It was a fun interview process, and the HR team kept me updated every step of the way, which cannot be said for many companies. Culture fit is a huge piece of the puzzle with WBR.

Interview
Grueling 4 interviews (5 including the phone interview) and a phone sales presentation that was humiliating and time consuming. The decision came down to me and another person and they got the job which is fine but I think they should have people spending time doing research and presentations on their buck not on our own time without an offer.
