Long, unprofessional and negative experience - Feb 2019 at Yahoo HQ - the whole process took 2.5 months.
My experience interviewing with Verizon Media was one of the absolute worse experiences I have ever had. The recruiter was unresponsive for days or weeks before which she would reply to my emails.
Initial rounds of interview were fairly professional and they asked the general questions around product design or behavioral ones. My experience really became bad when i went on-site for the final interview. 3 out of the 6 interviewers were nice, 1 other I would say seemed moderately interested. Now the other 2 people were the worst interviewers I have ever had. One of them walked into the room, sat down and with a cold face asked me 5 questions without even pausing (maybe this was a stress interview? Idk but I did not think that this was in any way helpful for the interview as he did not even let me finish my answers)
Overall, I would say that I would have expected a better level of professionalism from them. Oh also, they did not tell me that I am not selected until 3 weeks later.

Question 1
Behavioral, Product Design, and some points from my resume
The recruiting process itself was fairly standard, but communication between interview rounds could have been more transparent. There were extended periods without follow-ups, which made the overall experience feel less clear at times.

Question 1
How have you used data to influence your decisions?
It was a very straightforward interview process. I did a short phone screener with HR and then met with the hiring manager via Zoom. The questions were everything you'd expect - past experience, situational questions, etc.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Yahoo (Taipei)
Interview
First HR phone call ( around 1 hr), then hiring manager (anround 1 hr) and take home test plus a group interview. Will last for 1 month cos the salary process needs US approval.
