I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Yelp (Scottsdale, AZ) in Apr 2013
Interview
Applied online and was contacted within a couple of days by recruiter. Recruiter asked basic questions and set up another interview with a manager within the department I was applying.for. I spoke the manager for about 20 minutes and she asked generic questions such as: How do you stay organized? What motivates you? How do you acheive your goals?
I felt the interview went well and she said she would pass her notes onto HR to be contacted for another interview. two days later I recieved an email saying they were not going to move forward.
Standard filtering/fluff questions followed by a Mock sales pitch. It was not very different from other Sales/CS roles that I have applied to. It was not very difficult or novel at all.

Interview
I just had a quick screening call, and it was really focused on sales, more than on customer service. Cold calling is a big part of the role, and commissions don’t start until about 6 months in.
