Interview
The hiring process moved very quickly. I applied online and was contacted via email for phone interview within a few days. At the end of a phone interview I was already invited for next phase; in person interview in NYC office. That was a group hiring day. We had a quick tour of the building, followed by a group activity and brief overview of yelp sales. Then individual interviews started. In this I had to sell anything to the interviewer and apply feedback after my first mock sale, and repeat the process. After that the interviewer asked more questions about my experience and how I could apply that to sales. About a week later I was told I could advance in the hiring process, but would have another phone call. I decided to move in the direction of another job that was better suited towards me.

Very professional, informative, and timely interview process. I was very impressed with how well put together the entire process was and how fast things moved. Everyone on the hiring team was extremely punctual and even willing to take extra time to make sure all your questions are answered.

The interview process was pleasant from start to finish. It included a recruiter phone screen, a video call with the sales manager, a role play exercise, and the opportunity to implement the manager’s feedback.

The interview process with Yelp was a very organized experience. From the first email after I put in my application, to the offer extension call, I always felt well informed and included.
