Interview
I did not progress past the phone interview. As others have stated the interviewer was extremely friendly and started by asking standard questions such as why I was interested in sales, why yelp, one big disappointment in my career. Then it went to the role play where I was leaving a message for the owner of a pizza parlor who had missed our scheduled meeting for the second time. She then gave me feedback and I did it again. The most valuable feedback I was given was to be more certain in asking for a meeting, e.g. asking them to call me back today or telling them I would call back at a specific time later that day or the next. Honestly I should have prepared better. I would recommend writing out several full scripts for scenarios like this and having them down pat. I only did outline notes and did fumble some words.

Very professional, informative, and timely interview process. I was very impressed with how well put together the entire process was and how fast things moved. Everyone on the hiring team was extremely punctual and even willing to take extra time to make sure all your questions are answered.

The interview process was pleasant from start to finish. It included a recruiter phone screen, a video call with the sales manager, a role play exercise, and the opportunity to implement the manager’s feedback.
