I applied via a LinkedIn post and was contacted by the company recruiter within a few weeks of my application. The screening interview was very pleasant and I was left feeling fairly confident based on the feedback I received. I was advised that I would be contacted by the end of the week or before. I followed up with a quick thank you email and received an email immediately after, again very positive and encouraging. A week and a half later I followed up to which I received no reply. At this point I suspected I had been passed over however it was another two weeks before I received an automated email advising that they were moving forward with another candidate. It was a disappointing result which could have been handled a little more professionally with the transparency and communication that was originally promised. I read all the great reviews of the company and the culture however how the communication process was handled after the interview left me a little disappointed unfortunately.
