    Application

I applied in-person. I interviewed at BD (Brisbane).

    Interview

Informational interview with company representative for a job I was told the company HR would be posting - no follow up after an email saying she would update me when the job was in the formal interview process. Left two messages for the interviewer. No response received. Did not see the posting for the position.

Company Updates

  • The number of women with patents has historically not been keeping pace with the number of #WomenInSTEM. As a member of BD’s WIN+STEM associate resource group, Alyssa Shedlock received support from @SWEtalk to change that by earning her own patent.

  • BD’s Women’s Initiative Network (WIN)+STEM is an associate-led group that provides mentoring, coaching, and networking opportunities, working with orgs like @SWEtalk. Melody Kuroda is one of several who received a Patent Recognition Award this year.
