When I started at Concentrix in May 2007, I thought it was going to be a quick job. I had no idea of the adventure my time here would become and all the incredible people I would meet along the way.
I started with the company as an advisor. Next, I moved to the Sales team and did well. I was promoted to floor support helping my peers achieve sales targets and assisting management with our new hire academy bay and sales performance.
My team manager saw something in me that I could not see in myself. He talked me into at least interviewing for a role I didn’t think I wanted. I got the job and quickly became part of the emergency family.
In 2016, when my personal life hit rock bottom, my career took off. I won Call of the Year for assisting in the delivery of a bouncing baby boy! My rise didn’t stop there. I went on to be awarded the distinguished title of North American Dispatcher of the year for my contributions in the emergency field and for my role in a breech child birthing delivery. As a result, I went on to do countless radio and magazine interviews. I was featured in an article by Refinery 29 with my mother about working moms. I became an emergency instructor teaching new frontline staff with the skills needed to dispatch in an emergency environment.
Being a working mom has its own challenges and sometimes we leave what we love, to do what’s best for our children. An opportunity came for me to move to Marketing. I love my management team and my co-workers are great. I have learned that in all aspects of my life I will always be growing, learning and changing. When I think life is taking me one way, it turns, and I have a new path. If I have to live by just one quote it has to be from the ultimate icon for dreams.

I have been working at Concentrix full-time (More than a year)
I entered Concentrix at an agent level as a sales representative. I've been there for one year and have already progressed to a Team Leader position. There's such great support from the management teams and such a great culture on the production floor.
Some clients are better to work with than others, but as long as you're willing to work hard, movement within the company is encouraged.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Concentrix.
The interview process involves an assessment centre. There were about 10 people in the main room where the leaders described the next stage's process. What is involved in the process is a 1-on-1 interview and then a role play phone call with one of the leaders.
