Pros
Some very talented artists work in the main team at 4A Games and these are also the nicest people of the company. They have been a pleasure to work with because extremely supportive.
Cons
In one of the teams the friendship is valued more than professionalism. Some figures sell their work better than what it really is, and all the people who act this way are protected from a more fair judgment by the management. Unfortunately this represents a spoiled environment where manners aren't supervised at all. International members of this team left because of the unfair and poor management, some intentionally, some were let go. They all got to a point of frustration. There is a dilatation on the average working time that would take to do anything production-wise. Nobody really checks if many employees arrive after 10 am and do not work the full 8 hours. They seem to send warning only to certain people. Some of them spend countless hours in the terrace smoking then expect that the work they need is perfect when they they gave little support for. There is a lot of gossip done in Ukrainian. It's tough to feel part of the company if you are not Ukrainian. Imagine moving to Ukraine instead of moving to an international company in Malta.
