Pros

ADL is working on a lot of cutting edge things, some of which might actually make the world a better place

Cons

ADL isn't as interested in innovation as it is in getting paid. Everyone is in their own silo and there is no collaboration or teamwork unless there's a big deadline. Theyre good at the bait and switch and they do this with both employees and clients. But the business is all about making a lot of money for the partners without giving employees resources to succeed. You are a tool for them to get paid, nothing more, and they won't even give you any support in doing your job most of the time. Management thinks they're some Silicon Valley wizards but they're really just immature children who have no clue how to manage people. Plus a couple of gross misogynists on the team. no interest in equity or equitable outcomes. All just about making them money.

Pros

Smart people doing smart things, which in theory do some good.

Cons

Extremely arrogant CEO. Does not listen to people, cuts them off, mainsplains, dismisses people without hearing them out, you name it. Not a pleasant experience.

Pros

Coworkers in middle management and down. It attracts brilliant, passionate, hard-working people who are mission-driven and collaborative.

Cons

There is no clear long-term business strategy, and the leadership from the partners is either non-existent or ineffective. They foster a negative culture characterized by disrespect, dishonesty, chauvinism, unrealistic / unequal expectations, and a total lack of transparency and introspection. The senior leaders who were genuinely trying to make a positive impact and promote an ethical, inclusive, and respectful work environment have either left or were pushed out. You'll notice that the only positive reviews are older and come from analysts (interns) and associates—junior employees who are often shielded from the toxic upper management. My advice: Look elsewhere. This company is not a place for growth or a healthy work environment.
