Run away from this Deceptive Company

Pros

One of the managers is great to work with. That person will work with you as long as you are doing your job and frankly will let you leave early as long as you got your work done. They are the backbone of this company. Sad to hear that they are leaving.

Cons

Two of the managers will smear other employees reputations in order to convince you they are on your side. They are snakes and you are on the plane. Two of these reviews complain about traffic. Yes, traffic can be a problem, but I highly doubt that the reviews written with that being the only con were written by employees of the company. This company is deceptive and knows how to make people think this place is awesome to work at. Want to be yelled at or made to feel like you are crazy. Join this circus of a work space.

Chaotic and disorganized

Pros

Good experience due to working on a variety of new projects in different roles and capacities, peers were able to learn from and challenge one another. There was a specific project workflow process that clients had to follow, so our projects at least had a structure and a timeline. Nice physical office space and location. Occasional but rare fun events off-site and on Friday afternoons in the office.

Cons

Project management was ultimately still disorganized. There was no leadership or direction from departmental management, leading to executive overreach. Office politics got around easily and the managers were unprofessional in gossiping about clients and past employees. My team and I were overworked and did not get to enjoy our work. Pay was terrible and not competitive with market rates.

We (AIS Media) have received more than 30 awards in the last four years for our work, so it's difficult to understand how project management was disorganized or how there was no leadership. Award-winning results, outstanding testimonials and happy clients (who are on the record) don't come from a lack of leadership or direction. This does require excellent talent, desire to put the project first and driven employees. Definitely not for the 9-5'er.

Pros

AIS Media is a great place to work because you get exposed to many different aspects of the industry. In my time at AIS I have not only learned a tremendous amount about digital advertising but also a lot about business in general. The AIS leadership is very knowledgeable in how to effectively incorporate digital advertising practices into overall business goals for clients and is always able to come up with a solution to tough business challenges.

Cons

Leadership sometimes has differing opinions on how to provide the best service to clients and new employees often feel like they are caught in the middle because of this.
