After having conversations with other employees, it has been brought to our attention that any employee that has applied through the internal portal was not given consideration during the promotions of New Jersey staff in Nov/Dec 2022. It was "who you know "at that certain moment . These employees offered higher paying promotions did not have to meet the requirements listed on the role applications. They were offered the position and then afterwards told to fill out an application. This is considered unfair and inequality in the workplace. Unless you're BFF's with someone in a higher position, don't expect to be promoted regardless of your work ethic, tenure, and meeting the qualifications listed on the application.
