Pros

-Free parking -Easy access to the University of the Philippines Buildings if you go to classes (like if you are taking Masters, etc.) -You will learn a lot of stuff**

Cons

-Too much work is given on employees, because there are so many projects, and there is shortage in staff; typically, you will handle many projects at a time, which require you to work overtime majority of the time. A boss once said, "if you can't do it, maybe you are not fit to work in the engineering industry" -Considering the amount of effort you put in and the responsibilities that are being given to you, the pay is unreasonable -Supervisors have no employee management background/training, leading to stressed employees -Work life balance is nonexistent, expect to work until midnight, sometimes during weekends as well -Toxic "We are family" culture -Encourages mentorship between employees, not for the sake of true mentorship, but really it's just because of lack of proper training for employees -**but you will have to learn those stuff on your own; a lot of times supervisors/bosses get projects beyond their areas of expertise, and you will have to research on your own to work on the project This company has caused my anxiety and depression, and led to my burnout

Pros

Able to explore different facet of civil engineering design works. Good place to get familiarized with the common design tools especially in geotechnical engineering.

Cons

Unfair career/training opportunities and promotions. Years with the company seems to be the only basis for promotion so engineers who once went the extra miles eventually lose motivation and settle for bare minimum outputs. Staff turnover is really high. Design work flows are really behind the local industry.

Pros

- decent initial experience for design engineering - coworkers are friendly - good company events

Cons

- this company became mentally and emotionally draining and it affected my overall well-being - instances of excessive overtime, including extended late-night work (sometimes +6–8 hours or more) - uneven workload distribution, where some employees carry significantly heavier workloads while others have lighter assignments - imbalance where employees with lighter workloads sometimes receive comparatively higher pay - micromanagement culture rather than trust and autonomy - compensation and pay not fully aligned with workload, responsibility, and performance - inconsistent treatment across different roles - unclear expectations from management - performance evaluations are one-sided - managament treats lower-level positions poorly - bonus allocation are inconsistent among employees with similar roles and tenure - management is really toxic. there is an obvious power tripping happening in here and they will gaslight you as much as they can
