      Challenging, rewarding for some

      Pros

      Get to work on a key industry and issue for the country and world. Good benefits, friendly staff.

      Cons

      Industry is in constant flux due to short-term policy. The association's ups and downs have reflected that. However, a 5-year policy (PTC) was passed at the end of 2015, so that's the most stability the industry has ever had. Definitely demanding on the work-life balance.

      Pros

      The organization had great, team-oriented culture and it's been hard to find that in other organizations.

      Cons

      Unfortunately, I don't think major conflicts were tackled head on. In the spirit of not rocking the boat, this allowed issues to linger on longer than necessary at times.
