Pros

* Family friendly company * Good size company - small enough to feel like you matter, but big enough for decent benefits and security * Good job security due to a diverse portfolio of project types that can weather recessions * Lots of staff with long tenure

Cons

* They often throw new employees into the fire and hope you succeed * Culture has significantly declined since COVID * A few toxic managers are allowed to stay and ruin their departments or teams * Good ol' boys club & cliques can be difficult to break into

Pros

The construction workers are cool

Cons

Management's a joke! They do not care about people, safety, quality. I figured being a mom and pop shop oh, so to speak, that there would be minimal politics; not the case! It's a good old boy club oh, anybody of color or if you're a female forget it. They will mess you over lie about you and get you out of the organization if you are a director, manager or in any supervisory position
