      Good company, gone wrong

      Pros

      -Career Advancement -Human Resources is always available and tries to implement change -The staff does care

      Cons

      -The CEO makes decision to better the company for the "short term" but does not look at long term effects -The CEO has relationships with a couple of the top leaders and accommodates there wishes with disregard to the rest of the company -Sales and Service Culture is wasted by lack of practice by leaders - Branches need direction and to be guided by a true leader -Numbers driven and not enough emphasis on staff - Limited staff potential because of cliques -Countless poor reviews from exiting staff not considered

      Make the credit union great again!

      Pros

      Benefits and time off Many great employees that care about the credit union, members and their coworkers. Career advancement Support of work/life balance Some departments function very well and are a true team. Many opportunities to get involved in the community. Intelligent staff that have great ideas Internal and external training is offered Committee that plans fun events

      Cons

      CEO is not visible and can't bother to say hi to most people. He never recognizes employees. He favors three individuals over everyone else. It seems the credit union is run by these 3 individuals. New senior management has no respect for old senior management. It is a shame because the new management could learn a lot from individuals with experience, knowledge and no egos or attitude. Constant talk about new culture, but it is not defined and seems to be only determined by the CEO.Input should come from all levels Communication could be better at all levels. Too much negativity and issues that are not being addressed or taken seriously. Listen to your employees without being defensive! Not enough recognition or "thank you". Internal policies are not always followed causing a lot of double standards and favoritism.

      Pros

      It is a growing company that embraces change and values its employees. My manager says "we don't want to be the biggest credit union, we want to be the best." A lot of effort is put into serving members well. Smart staff members are rewarded accordingly.

      Cons

      We only have "jeans day" on Friday.
