    Some people are brilliant and very easy to work with Everyone can be involved to find a new solution to a problem or new requirement Good opportunities to learn how an airline/travel agency works

    Cons

    Some old technology and technical debt, most of the code base has been started more than 20 years ago Focus on customer delivery before code quality

    Pros

    Depends on team & manager you are part of. I groomed myself in the domain & its challenges. I was supported by the Manager to explore the system independently & gave me time to breathe in the domain.

    Cons

    Less documentation, no training's for contractors. Knowledge sharing in team quite restrictive.

    I worked at Amadeus full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    Good team of travel professionals and sales people. Excellent product and solutions . Employees are kept up to date on trends that are impacting the industry. Sales are all target driven and employees encouraged to work together for shared goals.

    Cons

    Global Restructure effected all departments. Internal systems do not communicate with each other and processes are cumbersome and inefficient. Lack of communication between departments. Change is slow to come even though feedback is provided. Micro Management is also an issue and management implements policy over people.
