Pros

I was directly managed by the Editor/Publisher of Autobody News. Overall, my experience there was very positive. My manager trusted me completely to do my job well, so I thankfully never had to deal with micromanagement. I was treated with respect and got along very well with most of my coworkers. I never had to work overtime, and I was offered a raise after working there for a year without having to bring it up on my own.

Cons

Very quiet office and not particularly social. This is the ideal work environment for someone who wants to simply come to work, do their job, and leave on time every day. Definitely not the company to work for if you’re looking for company happy hours, retreats, etc. This could be a pro or con depending on your perspective.

Pros

Small company in a good location in Carlsbad. Most employees were very nice. Fair pay. Pleasant work environment.

Cons

Not allowed to chat. talk or socialize. Micro-managed constantly. Not trusted to do your job without someone else telling you how to do it.
