I started working at Autogrow as an editor in 2017, and experienced a ton of growth throughout my tenure there (nearly a year).
After a month or so, I took on more responsibility and moved into the role of account manager for their sales funnel service. I was in awe of the rate they were able to grow their client base month over month through organic content and word-of-mouth. It definitely kept me busy and learning every step of the way.
We had team meetings each week, as well as a daily sync-up that kept everyone on track. Everyone on the Autogrow team was incredibly hard-working, and Matt, the founder, was always available and highly communicative regarding the growth of the business and the team (which expanded in 2017).
Working there showed me what was possible in online business, and I was so inspired by their growth, I left to pursue my own editing business, using the strategies I learned working with Autogrow.
Cons
Working in a different time zone was tough in the beginning — I'm in the Pacific time zone and they were mostly on Eastern time, so the 7am calls were tough for me to initially adjust to.
