Avinext saw my potential and they have invested in me, promoted me, helped me chart out a career path, and helped me grow as an AV professional. I have a fantastic manager. I can't speak highly enough about my relationship with him and how easy it is to talk to him and ask for help. We have quarterly conversations about what I'm doing well and areas where I can grow and it has set clear expectations and encouraged me to improve and strive for excellence. When I was promoted to my new role, they gave me several hours of training on the clock and paid for any expenses to ensure I was prepared to take on my new responsibilities, and they reimbursed me for the certification exams I have taken and passed. They provide great healthcare, 401K, and other benefits. I have really enjoyed my time working for such a great company. It has been a great culture fit for me.
Cons
My schedule is sometimes hectic and unplanned the week of, and oftentimes subject to change even then. I really like to know what I have coming up, but it is very difficult to know until it is on my schedule. They recently made changes to try to improve this, but I think it can only improve so much. It's just part of the job at times.
