Pros

Canteen is reasonable and the staff there are friendly. Flexibility with annual leave.

Cons

If you get the chance ask a member of staff away from management about the training they receive, the workload, the lack of knowledge of the business among managers and how these feelings of inadequacy are taken out on the staff across the customer service department, the 'helpfulness' of the 'non-customer facing' departments, the parking situation and limited public transport to location.

Pros

Location and in the main sensible worked hours.

Cons

Unhealthy oppressive environment. Bullish and unwilling to accept constructive feedback. Told to stop talking to fellow employees unless work related. Weak HR that protect company and not employee. Deemed negative if you challenge. Yes people only. Many experienced staff made to feel a hindrance thus are being forced out or opinion ignored. ALD show no signs of wishing to retain good people as many have left the business. Staff being ran to a minimum as it chases a 'cross team' working ethic which will only bring standards down further to its people and customers. No ownership and skill element lost. Little or no reward, unless you endorse a 'performing seal' environment, then you may have something from the 'goody cupboard'.
