Reasonable bonus for 2025. Recent office refurbishment. On-site cafe.

Cons

Bullying by senior managers is rife and it's heart is in the HR department. My advice would be to avoid this employer in Ipswich if you value your mental health and well-being. The attrition rate is 30%+ which speaks for itself. The HR department offer an incentive (Amazon voucher!) if employees post a positive review on Glassdoor! This is a desperate measure to attract new staff as so many leave.

Cons

Everything about it. Culturally senior management team rule by fear, especially HR function. Zero progression. Good people ostracised if they speak up and borderline bullying goes on.

The hours are good (standard office hours) The location is ideal

Unfair pay within teams, There are huge discrepancies in pay for the same job roles regardless of experience and work quality. The company operates as a call centre but will not acknowledge this nor have phone systems to support. Systems used are outdated and not fit for propose adding additional pressure to the office clerks to work around. Management do nothing to support their team. There is a blame culture and the pressure of this is pushed down to the office clerks who are unable to defend themselves. Progression is based purely by friendships which has created a clique atmosphere and encourages manipulative tactics from general staff. Due to the overwhelming negative reviews, BCM are encouraging positive reviews internally instead of looking to fix the issues. Typical response from a business that has no intention to change.
