If you're considering an interview or job offer from BD Electronics, I strongly advise you to reconsider. Here's why:
As a salesperson, you'll find yourself in a position where you're pressured to mislead customers about the availability of components. Despite what they might tell you, the company often does not have the components in stock. What's important to them is securing purchase orders and payments. Once the payment is received, you’ll be left to handle all the complaints when parts are delayed or not delivered at all. It becomes an exhausting cycle of creating excuses for customers while management remains indifferent, as they are not involved in customer interactions.
Additionally, the company offers no benefits and seems to intentionally hire employees from countries with less stringent labor regulations, particularly in Asia, to minimize costs. This often results in lower pay and poorer working conditions.
The HR department is notably ineffective, with a sales director who excels only in making promises without delivering results. The most concerning issue is the management’s behavior: the CEO has a troubling track record of abruptly terminating employees without notice or compensation. This has been especially harsh for remote workers, who have few options but to accept this mistreatment.
My time, at BD Electronics was extremely disappointing. I wish to caution anyone thinking about working based on my experience.
