Perpetual Dysfunction

Pros

The events are amazing - especially when you see how hard the employees work to pull it off despite the conditions they are working in.

Cons

The CEO has never had another job in his life and has no perspective on what a real company is or how it should be run. Fear and intimidation are used to keep people in line. Anyone who disagrees with the CEO or his wife will quickly be shown the door. There is such a culture of mistrust (cameras in every area of the office, emails routinely read by the CEO and his wife, phone calls are all recorded) that people are paranoid and afraid to think for themselves. People take calls on their mobile phones in the parking lot when they need even a moment of privacy (even for work-related calls!). There is a reason 20+ people left in 2014, and this tiger isn't going to change its stripes anytime soon.

Pros

The windows from upstairs have a decent view where you can dream of jumping out.

Cons

"If you dont like it here, then quit" is the retention plan. Ownership and management are a disaster. They lie, undermine and abuse employees and treat us like we're disposable. EVERYTHING is watched because the owners are so paranoid. I put here that I was administrative because the owner's are very vindictive!!!! Coworkers joke about committing suicide because they hate their job so much. This is not a career and you should read these reviews carefully if you are thinking about working here. The positive ones are all BS except for this one.

Two roadblocks

Pros

I'm going to say a lot of the same things other people have said, because it's true. The excitement of the auctions were the highlight. It was a very different type of job and in a really fast moving world.

Cons

There are two people who are roadblocks to the company being a great place to work.  They also hire and give people who are unqualified authority because they are "yes men." But what they don't know is even the "yes men" talk badly about them behind their backs.
