      Pros

      Get thrown into work right away.

      Cons

      No management, everything is a mess, the files are missing important information and when you cant find something you're treated like an idiot. Not a place to learn because when you ask a question, you will be treated as if you are the biggest inconvenience and they will not answer it. However, when you mess up, which you ultimately will because no one will answer your question, you will get chewed out. Also, the partners are never there.

      Friendly Work Environment

      I worked at BeharBehar for a little under a year. I would have continued working at BeharBehar had I not decided to move states. I liked the fact that I had a list of cases that I worked on, alone, with the Partner. The firm is a learning environment. I was able to work on these cases and prepare strategy on my own and then have meetings with the partner to discuss those ideas/strategies. I felt like during these meetings, the partner would listen to my ideas, would analyze strategies with me and most importantly incorporated my ideas into our overall case approach. As a first-year associate, I was able to prepare motions, attend hearings, and attend depositions. Finally, the work environment is friendly and the people you work with are great! My secretaries were always supportive and never treated me like I was a “first year associate.” This firm truly embodies the idea of teamwork.

      Although the partners were sometimes our for personal reasons, they were still responsive over texts if needed.

      Awful place to work

      Nice mac computers and offices.

      Cons

      The partners are unwilling to help you grow as an attorney, but are fast to verbally abuse you when you do something wrong, which you will eventually with no guidance. Partners pay very little in comparison to other firms and will work you to an unhealthy level. They also hardly ever provide bonuses. There is zero work life balance at this firm. Your mental health will suffer due to the pressure and unimaginable stress. Partners will call you at all hours of the night and demand that you work weekends on little to no notice. Again, the pay is miserable for the amount of hours and work you are required to do.
