Pros
A did have some very nice people I worked with.
Cons
I lasted three weeks there because I was constantly pulled between graphic design work and being expected to process warehouse orders. Item locations were unclear and lacked any logical grouping. Items were often missing or hidden. No training was provided, and warehouse management was extremely impatient when I asked about item locations. Everyone seemed reluctant to help. When I was hired, I was told I had design freedom, but this is never truly the case. Every company has a visual aesthetic in mind, and it’s their job to communicate it. Unclear aesthetic expectations left me guessing, constantly reviewing and tweaking designs before submission, as things were apparently never quite right. This became exhausting and a waste of everyone’s time, especially with the high design KPIs. The open-plan office had a no-headphone policy, which made it extremely difficult to focus. Not only were you expected to be on alert whenever anyone needed you, but you were also distracted by conversations between other employees. People were constantly moving in and out of the workspace, socialising and working on various projects. Three weeks is simply not enough time to learn how to do two different jobs perfectly, especially with virtually no company-specific training. It's long been my suspicion that they couldn’t afford to keep me on and needed to come up with an excuse to let me go. I think I dodged a bullet.
