    Some good people, variety in tasks, flexibility.

    Cons

    Pay is okay, management is average at bet, a lot of dead weight carried in the store. Once you reach the ceiling it's hard coming into work.

    Pros

    Flexible hours, professional managers who care for wellbeing and safety. Very understanding if you're in a situation where you can't show up to a shift.

    Cons

    Rude customers sometimes, comes with the job though. Sometimes the training can be more in depth.

    Advice to Management

    See to it that employees are properly trained by superiors or colleagues that are more experienced in a certain task

    Best team orientated role I have had, you have purpose during most shifts and is a great learning experience

    The lack of guaranteed hours coupled with the "casualisation" of most of the staff

    Reduce your employee numbers and mitigate more people to guaranteed hours and part or full time

    Big W offeres flexible working hours and options. Many staff are friendly and helpful, always trying to assist in getting you best possible experience

    Cons

    the workload greatly increases during peak times. (as expected)

    make sure that your employees feel like they are being heard and that they have an opportunity to raise their concerns
