Pros

Great service leadership. Women who really care.

Cons

The environment is male dominant and not in a positive way. Sales bros, gym bros and boys who act like they have never seen women before are given reign to do whatever they want, and pretty young women are hired in service to give them something to look at. Sales cowboy culture is supported and great work is often overshadowed by the amount of clients complaining at poor sales practices.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and share your experience. We are pleased to hear your positive comments about the service leadership team and appreciate you recognising the care and support they provided. At the same time, we are disappointed to read the concerns you have raised regarding workplace culture and behaviours. At BrightHR, we want all employees to feel respected, included and comfortable in their working environment, and we take feedback relating to culture and conduct seriously. We recognise that fast paced sales environments can bring different personalities and working styles together, however professionalism and respect for others should always remain a priority across every area of the business. We also want to be clear that recruitment decisions are based on skills, experience and suitability for the role. We encourage our team to speak openly with managers and senior leadership teams if they experience behaviours that make them uncomfortable, so concerns can be reviewed and addressed appropriately. We would sincerely appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns with you personally. If you would be happy to, please reach out to us at reviews@brighthr.com. Thank you again for sharing your perspective. We wish you all the best in your future career.

Pros

Honestly, the only pro was that I was able to hire an amazing team despite the challenges across the rest of the business.

Cons

They track when you enter and leave the building, and will give you a formal warning if you are any later than 8:30, take a longer lunch break than 50 minutes, or leave earlier than 5pm. Even if you're performing well, they will give you a warning for the above. The culture is more about being in the office at a certain time, over being a master of your craft and performing well. If you are used to working in a company where they value.

Hi, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. Whilst we are happy to know that you found your team amazing, we regret to know you have been left with a negative impression of BrightHR. Performance and role expectations, including contracted working hours, are applied consistently and transparently across the business to ensure fairness for all colleagues. These expectations are clearly outlined in employment contracts and employee handbooks, alongside our processes for managing absence or lateness. At BrightHR, we value in-person working due to the positive impact we have seen on collaboration, learning, and team culture, but recognise that individual preferences may differ. We ask our teams to work their contracted hours and collaborate in the office, and we also place strong value on the hard work, commitment, and dedication shown by our people. It is important to us that we learn more about your experience and address your comments with you personally, so we would be grateful if you could reach out to us at reviews@brighthr.com. Thank you again for sharing your feedback with us and we sincerely hope to hear from you soon. The BrightHR Team
