Pros

Honestly, the only pro was that I was able to hire an amazing team despite the challenges across the rest of the business.

Cons

They track when you enter and leave the building, and will give you a formal warning if you are any later than 8:30, take a longer lunch break than 50 minutes, or leave earlier than 5pm. Even if you're performing well, they will give you a warning for the above. The culture is more about being in the office at a certain time, over being a master of your craft and performing well. If you are used to working in a company where they value.

Hi, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. Whilst we are happy to know that you found your team amazing, we regret to know you have been left with a negative impression of BrightHR. Performance and role expectations, including contracted working hours, are applied consistently and transparently across the business to ensure fairness for all colleagues. These expectations are clearly outlined in employment contracts and employee handbooks, alongside our processes for managing absence or lateness. At BrightHR, we value in-person working due to the positive impact we have seen on collaboration, learning, and team culture, but recognise that individual preferences may differ. We ask our teams to work their contracted hours and collaborate in the office, and we also place strong value on the hard work, commitment, and dedication shown by our people. It is important to us that we learn more about your experience and address your comments with you personally, so we would be grateful if you could reach out to us at reviews@brighthr.com. Thank you again for sharing your feedback with us and we sincerely hope to hear from you soon. The BrightHR Team

Pros

-Management are supportive, -Earning Potential -Transferrable Skills - Benefits (HOLIDAYS FOR TOP PERFORMERS) - Floor Managers and Associate Director are lovely and very supportive and really do try to help where they can. Very very good culture. people are lovely and it is a nice place to be most of the time

Cons

-Basic Salary i was offered is the same one i was on at 19 and it has not changed for anybody since i have been here this needs a review! - Policies within the business are laughable, but again as seen in other reviews there is too much bureacracy for things to be changed. - your time is not your own, Headcount has increased significantly but the amount of staff "ALLOWED" off is 2 at a time in team of 40! - Lateness policies - I stayed one evening til 7:30pm (2 hours after my shift to sign a deal) i then recieved a formal warning for being 3 minutes late due to a crash which i showed evidence of! - 0 Common Sense in internal policies.

Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback! We’re really pleased to hear your positive comments about the supportive management, earning potential, development of transferable skills, and the strong culture you’ve experienced. It’s also great to hear your appreciation for the support provided by floor managers and leadership, and that you find the working environment a positive place to be. We also appreciate your feedback around policies and processes. BrightHR has structured policies in place to help ensure fairness, transparency and consistency across the business, and to make sure all employees are treated equitably. We recognise that in a fast aced environment, these can sometimes feel rigid on an individual level, and we continue to review how we balance structure with flexibility where appropriate. We also note your feedback around pay and time off availability. We understand these are important factors in the overall employee experience, and they remain areas of ongoing focus as we continue to evolve and support our teams. Thank you again for your feedback and for sharing your experience. We’re glad to have you as part of the BrightHR team, and you can always reach out to your line manager or director if you would like to discuss anything further. We hope you have a great end to your week!
