This company hates women

Pros

Free EV chargers on site. Free parking.

Cons

If you are being sexually harassed they will bury it and then when you point out there’s been no support they will nominate you for an award and give you some hush money in the form of a gift card. Oh and be prepared to be forced to still interact with your sexual harasser on a day to day basis! Doesn’t pay anywhere near industry standards. Unclear processes for remuneration reviews - higher salary increases go to those at the top who are already earning a lot. Zero pathways for career progression - they’ll just shove you in a corner of the office and forget about you. Zero female empowerment - for International Women’s Day they had a male speaker for majority of their presentation. Thinking of taking maternity leave? Be prepared to find a new job cause yours won’t be here when you get back. Micromanagement is the way of life here at CDC. “Customer first policy” = we will run our employees into the ground for a quick dollar.

Not everything is as it seems

Pros

- Early on I received adequate training which I felt set me up to do my job well - Some good instances of team work - Got a long well with most people in my team

Cons

- Once I knew the basics, I was mostly left to my devices despite speaking up about wanting to learn more. - Different set of rules for different employees, even in the same role. - I was often given tasks/projects that were well above my skill/experience level and received minimal/no support. - Gossip is RIFE! - If given the opportunity, people are quite happy to stab you in the back. - HR do NOT take appropriate measures if you are being sexually harassed. - Management seem to freely use intimidation tactics. - Common knowledge within the company that some employees are protected by management under any circumstances.

Pros

I really used to love this job and now I hate it,

Cons

Where to start? 1. If you get harassed by a customer they wont do anything about it. 2.High turn over. In my team of 13- 7 resignations in less than 12 months. 3.Poor payrises for long term or well performing staff. 4.Significantly large pay gaps between long term staff and new staff on probation. 5. On call 24/7 365.. No 'on call' allowance 6. Staff take on additional work as work load is incredibly high. 7. Staff who hit there 10 years are given nothing.. they might get a thanks in a meeting where 99% of the people do not know them. TLDR: OVERWORKED UNDERPAID
