Finally a Company That Cares

Pros

The owners genuinely care about their employees, great benefits, fun work environment, work remotely, great coworkers with a real sense of team.

Cons

Working remotely can be challenging to connect with your coworkers when you are new - it just takes much longer. However, management tries to think of innovative and fun ways to bring us together even virtually.

Pros

Good flexibility with scheduling and school.

Cons

They say accountability is big to them, but that wasn't the case when I was there. There are some higher ups who avoid it, and then try to throw anyone else under the bus if something goes wrong. I guess that's easy to do when you have so many interns coming and going. There are some great people who work here, but there are those few who have a good bit of power who abuse it. Just be careful. They also convince new interns to leave raving reviews on Google and other media soon after they're hired when everything is still fresh and new. Then if anything negative is said, they chalk it up to those reviews being left by disgruntled employees. I'd say, if you have a chance to intern somewhere else, do it.

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback. As the posts are anonymous, I can’t speak to your personal experience but I can say with pride several things seem to be different since your time here. We’re proud to have won Baton Rouge’s Best Places to Work Award for the past 2 years running. We have always strived to provide valuable, realistic experiences for interns that prepare them for the professional world. We believe internships allow students to really explore niche areas they want to pursue, especially in an industry as diverse as marketing. While that goal remains the same, our internship program opportunities have adjusted slightly since the pandemic. Lastly, we’re a small business. Anyone who has ever tried to create something from nothing knows there are challenges along the way. We aren’t always perfect, but we strive for continued improvement. I can always promise to listen to constructive feedback, take it to heart, and make improvements along the way. Our open-door policy and continued feedback opportunities remain in place, especially through the challenging times. I hope the past 2 years’ track record helps show that we put actions to words. Be well and best of luck.

Pros

Flexibility from management Opportunities to grow and explore different technologies, learn and practice new skills Solid Benefits and PTO Good team Cohesion Hourly, which means a limit to 40 hours a week unless a project needs it and you agree to it. Even on hectic weeks, you are clocking out at 5pm on Friday, earlier if you put in extra time earlier in the week.

Cons

High turnover rate, it's a small company with a good amount of interns which leads to some people leaving every year or so. With the amount of moving parts long term projects have the turnover can cause issues with a problem happening with something someone who has left the company before you set up.
