Where to start... This was a horrible place to work. The company as a whole, is all talk and no doing. They talk about being fair, diverse, and equal... they are not.
I never been treated so unfairly before. I was demeanded on a daily basis, told my opinion doesn't matter, and nothing I contributed was ever good enough for my boss or my management. I was promised advancement and empowerment and all I felt was a ceiling, a very low ceiling. I was restricted from creativity and constantly put in place when I thought outside of the box.
Cathedral is 100% stuck in the 'old boys oil and gas club' from the 1960's and they need to snap out of it. The executive team struggles for power, and struggles to keep calm at th best of times. There were a number of times when I saw executives 'lose it' on their employees for reasons I don't want to get into on here.
In the year that I was there, I saw them hire great people and those great people were either walked out because they were a threat or they left on their own terms because they easily found out what a joke this company was.
The corporate culture is weak. So weak. The staff try to engage and be motivated to make it a great place to be but there is no hope. The executives are always too busy and there is no sense of team at the offices. People go days without talking to one another and quite frankly, administrative positons don't even want to be at headquarters due to it's toxic environment.
Simply put, steer clear of this place. If you have goals, dreams and are ambitions you are better than this place.
