      Terrible, absolutely terrible

      Pros

      There is nothing that I can say to be positive about this company expect the redundancy pay was welcome.

      Cons

      The company has a reputation for high staff turnover and this is in fact true. The pushy sales culture of the 80's is alive and well at Certas Energy with harsh, target driven "managers" who are utterly incompetent with even basic spelling an issue. A terrible, back stabbing environment, rife favouritism and general unfairness.

I would definitely recommend discussing these points with your manager or team leader so support can be given and to ensure you have a clearer understanding of the new commission structure. Also, there is a progression route within the Trafford Park office so if you are not clear on what this looks like raise this with your manager or team leader. If you haven’t already it's this time of year that we all have our annual reviews so this is a great opportunity to discuss some of your concerns and development opportunities.

      Pros

      Met some cool people, and the christmas night out was a laugh and a half. Otherwise nothing.

      Cons

      No breaks unless you smoked. Alone except for manager who was in 10am-4pm on weekdays, so you couldnt go to the toilet every other time. Working alone despite the fact it's clearly a 2 person job. Most of the food on shelves was expired because 1 person didnt have time to go through it. Had to work christmas day (although to be fair the pay was doubled). Got sacked for doing domething the manager said was okay and then changed her mind on.
