Toxic, the high turnover rate speaks for itself.
Pros
You build relationships with amazing patients who you will carry in your heart forever.
Cons
The turnover rate at this practice truly speaks for the work environment. I worked here years ago, but the damage it did to me mentally & emotionally, I feel the need to make people aware that the bad reviews are unfortunately true. While employed here, I was bullied by the doctor. I witnessed several other employees be bullied by the doctor & leave for all the same reasons. If multiple people leave for the same reasons, there is a problem & I hope the doctor can finally take a look internally & fix how she treats her employees. If a family member can no longer afford to receive her care or drive hours multiple times a week for a 30 minute appointment, you will be pulled into the office & gaslit into thanking you are the problem. She even went as far & told me that if something awful were to happen to this family member, it would be my fault because i allowed them to stop coming. There is no room for growth within this company. The doctor is only supportive of a person’s growth & further education if it’s on her terms. Ex. Go through the chiropractic association for school to learn a new skill that you will have to pay out of pocket for because it makes her look good, instead of using your GI bill that was earned when doing years in the military. I’ve witnessed her yell at employees. When you get the chance to talk to her about how you feel, she will tell you that her actions don’t actually make you feel that way. I would have so much anxiety coming into work that I would physically shake. It seems she will never change. There is so much more I could say, multiple experiences here that I have had to work with other mental health professionals to unpack. Until she looks within & realizes the true reality of why her turnover is abnormally high, I fear it will never change & the patients will constantly have to revolve through new employees.
