Way too little pay for the responsibility and disregard from management

- WAY too many responsibilities within this position, you will truly be the backbone of this zoo operating. They expect you to know how to do so many different things despite very minimal training. - Everyone has their own way of doing things with no standard protocol for many of the positions so what one supervisor teaches you could be wrong to another supervisor. - Very physically demanding. Long hours of standing in hot or cold weather with minimal breaks. Management is incredibly opposed to sitting and you will get in trouble if you're caught sitting. - Little to no regard of listening to what could make your job better, questioning the system currently in place is frowned upon, even if you have ideas of how to do things better - The scheduling is terrible, you're either totally overstaffed with nothing to do but stand around or you're the only one working on a busy day. - Any discrepancy with cash handling is immediately your fault until proven otherwise - Management seems distrusting overall and is quick to fire people over minor issues - Dealing with upset customers, but that's expected. Ironically, most of the things people were upset over were because of bad policies in place by management.
