Pros

casual attire, wellness center, and a beautiful campus

Cons

Although Clayton does great work for the community, working here is a completely different story. Management and leadership is toxic and has no care or insight into the rest of the employees. Directors and exec staff are making 150k plus a year while educators are forced to work two to three jobs. This place functions like a start up even though it has been around for over 100 years. The work environment has further gone down hill over the past four years due to terrible leaders and this place is no longer the place it used to be. So sad.

Pros

Pay is adequate for lead teachers; benefits package is decent. Continuing education supported. It is a beautiful campus & there are some wonderful people working there. Working with the children and families can be quite rewarding

Cons

While you get the normal school holidays and vacations, you do not start to accrue personal vacation until after two years. High needs children are often placated and not helped to develop adequate skills to succeed in their next learning environment.

Pros

Great co-workers. Good Benefits. Adorable children to work with.

Cons

The management team at Clayton clearly has an agenda outside of what is best for this campus. The management teams do not coach well, they do not hold themselves accountable - therefore pointing the finger at anyone they can for misorganized protocols, and HR is a nightmare at best. There are constant changes to the expectations they have, and will go back in time to use those against you prior to the new process. In addition to being extremely unorganized and understaffed, it adds extra stress to all departments. This is not a place to call home at this time. Once the head person is gone, things may change.
