Pros

- There are very few pros to working with this company but the biggest one from my experience was being able to meet and work with the clients. The children i've interacted with are all so sweet and special in their own way! Its amazing to watch them progress, even if its the smallest thing. - The only other pro was being able to work 4x a week and you get to choose which day you have off from my experience. Although, you do have to complete 1 saturday shift per month but its only 8-1 so its not the worst.

Cons

- A lot of miscommunication and false promises from the company as a whole. What they tell you in orientation is the complete opposite of what happens when you actually start working. We were told that we would be guided and supported every step of the way considering most new people dont have much experience but I felt like I was thrown in and totally unprepared on my first week. BCBA's were unavailable to attend to everyone's needs which is partially not their fault and many of the virtual BCBA's were no help at all. - Health hazzard! They would constantly allow the kids to come into their sessions with illnesses and put the entire staff and other kids at risk just so they could collect the money from insurance. On top of no one keeping the toys/play areas/rooms clean and disinfected

Pros

I had a fantastic team of BCBAs I worked with and we were truly trying to improve the center.

Cons

- Money centered: These kids are exploited and seen as nothing more than a paycheck. - Unethical Practices: Double or triple bookings kids to one BT without informing parents or billing group codes. No written verification for BIPs, no clinical oversight on learners (10 behaviors being tracked with no ABC data, redundant goals, baseline for 6 months, variable data for 6+ months with no attempts to fix it), no nondisclosure signed in relation to HIPAA for anyone coming in the clinic (interviewees, parents, etc.), learners photographed/videotaped without obtaining consent first, no BACB compliant case transitions, minimum authorization requirements (20 hours min), RBTs doinf evaluations, punishment strategies utilized, forced compliance, the list goes on. - No training for new hires across the board (BCBAs, BTs, front desk clerks, practice managers, etc.) I received no training on how the software worked or any important policies. I was thrown into the clinic after onboarding. BTs barely shadow and are expected to run sessions with no training. - Unprofessional and rude corporate employees with no respect for clinical side of company. - Clinic had holes in the wall and ran out of supplies like paper towels, wipes, tissues, etc. - Clinic was treated like daycare, parents picked up and dropped off whenever and had high late/early arrivals/pickups leading to staff working and not being paid. - No psychology consults on monthly basis per NC state law. - Forced compliance and aggressive physical prompting from higher up BCBAs. - Higher up BCBAs adding goals to clients without discussing it with assigned BCBA. - BTs had constant problems with payroll and would be missing money. - Poor communication across the board.

Pros

The kids we work with Coworkers Lead RBTs BCBAs

Cons

Any management above the BCBAs both clinic based and company based is so incredibly disconnected from the work we actually do in the clinic. CEO has openly admitted that money is in the top five most important things when it comes to our company. I understand money is important to any business, but it’s clear that’s the primary care from the CEO.
