Good career choice, terrible company
Pros
- There are very few pros to working with this company but the biggest one from my experience was being able to meet and work with the clients. The children i've interacted with are all so sweet and special in their own way! Its amazing to watch them progress, even if its the smallest thing. - The only other pro was being able to work 4x a week and you get to choose which day you have off from my experience. Although, you do have to complete 1 saturday shift per month but its only 8-1 so its not the worst.
Cons
- A lot of miscommunication and false promises from the company as a whole. What they tell you in orientation is the complete opposite of what happens when you actually start working. We were told that we would be guided and supported every step of the way considering most new people dont have much experience but I felt like I was thrown in and totally unprepared on my first week. BCBA's were unavailable to attend to everyone's needs which is partially not their fault and many of the virtual BCBA's were no help at all. - Health hazzard! They would constantly allow the kids to come into their sessions with illnesses and put the entire staff and other kids at risk just so they could collect the money from insurance. On top of no one keeping the toys/play areas/rooms clean and disinfected
