I worked at ConnectWise full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great benefits including lunch stipend and fully stocked kitchen. Unlimited PTO Management has an open door policy

    Cons

Some departments require you work an "off shift" including overnights. Company recently changed hands and back filling empty positions and internal company movement has slowed to a crawl.

    Advice to Management

Back fill empty positions. Re-instate the bonus structure.

I have been working at ConnectWise full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Great benefits. Great culture. The people here are amazing. Unlimited PTO. Free Lunches. Many strong leaders with open eyes and ears. Post-Acquisition equity payout was amazing!

    Cons

ConnectWise has had an interesting and exciting 2019. It has been a new challenge but things are looking very promising as we look into the future. We all have a lot to learn and many processes have a lot of maturation that need to take place, but many colleagues are working very hard to get us to where we need to be. TB's advisory role has already helped make great strides toward making CW even better

    Advice to Management

Keep the transparency going. Post-acquisition the colleagues want and need to know what is going on. Continue to keep your eyes and ears open for input and innovative ideas, the colleagues want to help make CW as great as possible. Continue to empower colleagues that are maturing our processes so we can fully grow and thrive. If we can keep our goals aligned in the direction we are currently set, it is gonna be a great...

I worked at ConnectWise full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

-$8 stipend for lunch redeemable at three different places. -Lots of free snacks, drinks, etc. -Corporate culture is laid back; the dress code is casual. -Lots of interesting work.

    Cons

Executive leadership regularly and adamantly expressed to colleagues (during the regular First Friday events) that ConnectWise wasn't interested in outside investment, and that the company would remain independent. However, as we all now know, that's not the case. All of the corporate values that CW was keen on living up to went out of the window when someone came along with a big enough purse to buy out the Bellini's....

    Advice to Management

My advice would be to leave as soon as possible. You may think you're safe, but once private equity gets its claws deep enough into CW, the CW that you now enjoy will be long gone. Your benefits will be cut, your perks will be eliminated, and your jobs will be subject to the whims of someone with a spreadsheet.

I worked at ConnectWise full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

I worked for ConnectWise for about 5 1/2 years.. in Jan we parted ways and I wanted to share my experience. At the core of this organization is a desire to make businesses succeed. Period. If you look at this from the inside out you can start right there. This IS the company’s primary m.o and one of the reasons I loved working for them. I felt like I was actually making other people’s lives better and you could really...

    Advice to Management

Keep listening to what the RSM’s and BDM’s are telling you. They are almost always more realistically in tune.

I have been working at ConnectWise full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

There are so many cool things happening at ConnectWise! In addition to the free lunches, tuition assistance, and team outings, the senior and executive leadership are friendly, outgoing, and engaged. You'll definitely find a niche and feel at home here, as the company actively demonstrates that it values a diverse workforce. Work-life balance is important, and the company wants all colleagues to be able to take breaks...

    Cons

Due to the acquisition, the company had to let some really talented people go. Breaking teams up always hurts morale, but the company tried to handle the whole thing in a professional way. The mood around the office is slowly returning to normal.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you're doing! Transparency is important, so be sure to continue promoting the values that Arnie emphasized when he was CEO.
