      Toxic Work Environment

      Pros

      Your coworkers, the people roughing it with you, are the only way you'll make it through your time at this company. Knowing you aren't alone in the public shaming, screaming fits, and overall toxic culture helps just enough to keep you from quitting on the spot every day.

      Cons

      Management/Leadership. You're expected to work and be available 24/7, even on vacation. They pass over employees who have earned their stripes at the company for shiny new employees (who they end up firing 3 months later), and there is absolutely no appreciation. Ryan (CEO) repeatedly yells at employees in public settings, and calls them out for mistakes rather than trying to help fix root issues. Zach (COO) tries his best to be a problem solver but leaves too much of the business up to Ryan. If Zach were the head of this company, it would be a much better place to work.

      Toxic and unprofessional

      Pros

      - remote - some great colleagues if they haven't been laid off so the company can restructure again and again

      Cons

      - the best people were forced out or left already - leadership is deaf to feedback and surrounded by yes men - sexist and unprofessional comments by middle managers - some people are busy playing politics in a tiny company - underpaid and overworked

      Do not work for this company

      Pros

      None. Do not work for Darwin Homes.

      Cons

      Do not work here. There is no leadership starting at the very top all the way down. Internal chaos with no systems in place. Zero internal support and you are working with employees on the defense all day. The customers are dissatisfied and situations are allways escalated. This company needs a complete re-do. I highly recommend looking elsewhere for employment.
