Pros

Flexible work hours, work from home, kind coworkers, interesting projects, ability to advance (to a degree), no insurance premiums.

Cons

Low pay compared to other firms, low PTO, no sick time (come on), few holidays (should be on federal schedule), reward for hard work/initiative is just more work, churn through research staff.

Decent Place to Start

Pros

The people I work with are amazing and there are opportunities for relatively quick advancement. There is a $5,000/year continuing education credit that you can use for professional development during the workday. Healthcare is employer provided for the whole family.

Cons

No sick days. Only 12 PTO days per year. No parental leave. Workaholic culture with the expectation you work more than 8 hours a day. People burnout and leave pretty quickly. No DEI initiatives or willingness to create a more inclusive culture.

Great Corporate Culture

Pros

The owners have made it a priority to make Dobson | DaVanzo a great place to work with a comfortable, family environment, in the midst of an extremely busy office. Everyone gives 110%, but is always there to provide team support and guidance as well. The owners also provide an excellent benefits package, which is above average on many levels.

Cons

We are not in walking distance from Metro.
