Pros

the employees were pretty great and the pay was comprable

Cons

This is without a doubt the worse place I ever worked.....there is not any kind of consistency---the owner thinks he can manage people, but he is sorrily mistaken....he frequent outbursts and temper tantrums only speak to his horrible managing---things change daily depending on his mood and who he likes that day. Awful environment, watching managers get fired constantly on a whim. do not work here!!!!!

Pros

*pay was ok *small company means you know everyone *the product (software) is interesting if inconsistent *co-workers are nice and usually pretty ethical

Cons

the worst management ever. The owner is an unethical, unprofessional shyster. He lies to customers and employees --the atmosphere is horrible, so many unhappy people. You don't know when you might get fired or yelled at. The amount of gossip and management talking behind your back is seriously insane. There are no job expectations set..you have to guess. If you guess wrong, no one will tell you --I have never seen such an unprofessional environment.

Pros

The gas station next door for snacks and 'breaks'.

The owner is a very untrusting person, not allowing more than 2 people in a meeting without interrupting the meeting and pulling people out of it who are 'unessential', causing us to have to get that employee up to speed on the meeting they were supposed to be involved in. The owner is shady with pay raises and will take them away if he feels it 'cannot be justified'. Owner & management wanted employees to know all aspects of all positions without allowing sufficient cross training. Owner pulled everyone into quarterly meetings where he talked about 'how good the company is doing and is very profitable' and then turned around 2 sentences later saying we employees were not doing enough and needed to ramp up our efforts. The owner and management won't tell clients when someone quits, many times over our former co-workers were 'on vacation' or were 'transferred' (there are no places to transfer to....), rather than being up-front and telling the client that their assigned resource quit (due to terrible management and pay).
