Pros

Good client and member list of well know organisations, interesting work, friendly.

Cons

Slow to change, heavy workload, turnover appears high, lots of ideas but lack of leadership implementation. Very limited /no opportunities for career advancement. Compete with consultancies but offer NGO salary.

Genuine advocacy for greater good. Management willing to work around the challenges of pandemic and innovate allowing work from home.

Cons

Don't expect greater good to translate to good employee wellbeing and support. Better capacity building and/or qualified personnels are needed. Blind positivity does not translate to optimism.

1. a veneer of non-hierarchical structure where every employee gets to speak his opinion 2. flexible hours 3. choice to work remotely on certain days

Cons

1. Despite the systems in place to report abuse, in the end, what matters to this company is still profits. 2. If a staff is seen to create profits and has good rapport with clients, work bullying done by the staff is persistently ignored 3. non-profit label is just a label. In the end, what matters to them is profit margin
