Pros

There are no pros to this place. The people that have pros to right have no idea what they are talking about because 1) It is/was their first corporate job 2) they want to recruit people with no experience just to "show" that the company is doing well 3) they are in denial. Please don't be fooled.

Cons

Where do I start? Everything about this place is a CON. The whole place is phony...this is the last place you want to work. You really gain nothing from this place other than knowing that you don't want to work here. If you are smart--wait it out until you get another position...if you are right out of college..this will be a wake up call for you. Not all companies are like this, so don't judge the market based on this company. The place is all about who you know and how well you are friends with them. Promotions are based on that, and they are scared of you if you are smarter than them which leads to you getting fired. Day to day tasks are so dumb because processes could be streamlined if people communicated. There is no motivation which leads to people blaming each other.

Pros

Your role will sound great but it is all false and misleading information due to constant change in responsibilities and definitions. Work from home

Cons

Huge turnover - Several employees has left the department for another department or leave the company. Burnout - if you are looking to get burnt out you have come to the right place! Constant change in structure with little to no support when roles change. All Account Managers are miserable and those who are new will see what I am talking about. Horrible leadership - focuses on promoting themselves than the employees below them. Look up their Linkedin and see how often they have promoted themselves with massive salary increases! Passive aggressive emails Micromanagement - claim to not be micromanagers but actions says otherwise Looks at the employees as a number and replaceable. Rather hire new employees and waste time training then retain current employees. Low salaries below market Does not promote from within often and rather hire someone outside the company with a lower salary to help their personal high bonuses Bad communication skills from VPs and above Cannot provide direction and cannot define career path for every person on team Favoritism Bad morale Higher ups are very aggressive in communication and put up an act when they are being observed

Pros

Opportunities for growth do exist, despite what many people think, but (like at most companies) you need to 1. show your worth 2. have a good relationship with your boss 3. make it happen yourself New owners could be good for the company's overall management and strategy Flexible work hours + work from home options when needed Some good people remain (though far, far fewer since prior to 2015) SAAS product shows promising future (GlassPanel), maybe even enough to counter the shrinking lead gen core business

Cons

Management made big decisions for short term gain, which will be tough to overcome in the next several quarters. Enrollment data will shape up in 30-120 days to lead to further unhappy clients, less or no growth, etc. New owners were fed a pretty version of what EDDY really is now. May be in for a very rough awakening in 2016. Everyone is a Director and titles are being thrown around with little/no meaning (i.e. Director who have no direct reports, lowest level workers being pushed to do the work of 3-4 people with little or no reward) No one is accountable. Whenever something goes wrong, everyone points the finger and tries to save their own behinds. Culture used to be more team oriented. They may say they are team oriented, but real decisions are fueled by personal gain especially. There are plenty of reasons why dozens of people have left EDDY in Q3/Q4 of 2015...

EducationDynamics Response

For a company that has been a pioneer in its’ industry, and one that also experienced, change; challenges exist. However, the commitment of visionary leadership, coupled with a team of passionate individuals who perform above and beyond– regardless of the challenges – clearly shows that truly special people work at EducationDynamics.
