    I have been working at Emerson full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

    Company culture is very open. Promotes ethical standards. Products and Services are one the best in the industry.

    Cons

    Human Resource Dept and upper management are out of touch. No idea on the needs and frustrations of their regular employees who are in the front lines.

    Advice to Management

    Practice what you preach when you say that" Employees are the company's most important asset". Listen to us too, not just the bean counters.

    Pros

    Great Company Culture, employees are valued. Managers have regular management skill training so that you don't see unprofessional behavior.

    Cons

    IT systems are behind, which affects the efficiency of work. Not so sure about the outsourcing, it seems cost more than onshore.

    Have enjoyed my employment with the organization. Hope you still keep the Emerson spirit under Vertiv

    Pros

    Lots of opportunities to work with global employees up to projects. And good and warm people to work with.

    Cons

    Lack of leadership of management, sluggish promotion.

    Advice to Management

    It would be great to find vocal leaders in regional offices and motivate employees to show better benefits.(exchange office area or any beneficial packages)

    Have good products and friendly staff. An engineering company with good product roadmaps.

    Cons

    Management needs to move into the 21st century in regards to sales models. Promise great career options and don't deliver unless you are old school

    Get out of the dark ages in regards to sales and stop using the old ways of doing business

    Great, friendly people. Family culture, feel like a part of the team.

    Was employed for 4 months and resigned, reasons as follows - No documentation written in any division, too many SILO systems, not good with UAT or gathering requirements from each team for preparation when new system platforms go live.     Documentation should be mandatory in every division and have it centralised on the intranet website of the company having a document library built and designed on the intranet ie MS SharePoint great app to use for document library for the sharing and collaboration of information.
