This is possibly one of the most frustrating jobs out there. As a support rep, not only are you the bottom of the barrel and paid the least, but you have the most on your plate.
In interviews, they emphasized that this was not a call center, then after 10 weeks of training, they throw you on the phones. Good luck even getting up to go to the bathroom. Better plan your breaks according to your bladder- they watch everything that you do.
There’s also mandatory OT during year end. 30 minutes added to your shift every day and two days a week for “late nights.” Executives and managers get to take vacations throughout year end to see their families, but you will not be able to.
They tell you take ownership of client issues and cases, but give you 0 time to work on any of them. And it’s not like they’re easy issues; it’s issues regarding companies’ taxes, employees’ pay, etc. They’re issues that need prompt attention, but we aren’t given time to work on it. Though, you are told to take time when you need it, but then asked to go back inbound because of calls holding.
The company itself doesn’t communicate internally very well either. This probably goes both ways, but it’s like pulling teeth getting other departments to help on issues other than payroll.
I’ve seen so many people quit without notice and without any other jobs lined up. That should tell you all you need to know.
